MS Dynamics Developer (Power Automate / Dynamics 365 F&O) - SC Cleared

MS Dynamics Developer to support a large, multi-vendor transformation programme. You’ll customise and extend Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, build Power Automate workflows, and deliver performant integrations using Dataverse and RESTful APIs.

  • Customise & configure D365 F&O (data structures, extension models, upgrades/maintainability) using Visual Studio, LCS, UDE and PPAC.
  • Deliver across the full implementation lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Extend standard modules with X++ and C#; follow coding standards, conduct code reviews, and maintain technical docs.
  • Design & build integrations between F&O and external systems via Power Automate, Dataverse, virtual tables, and RESTful APIs; ensure integrity, security, and performance.
  • Create and optimise automated workflows (approvals, notifications, data entry) triggered by F&O and other platforms; monitor reliability and scalability.
  • Use Power Apps (low-code) and incorporate AI features where appropriate to enhance F&O processes; evaluate new platform capabilities.
  • Provide 3rd-line support, performance tuning, and bug fixes; support user training and produce support documentation.
  • Consult with stakeholders on technical/functional design; explain complex topics clearly and participate in UAT.
  • Perform other related duties as required to ensure successful delivery.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years’ post-graduate experience; or 10+ years’ progressive, directly relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Proven delivery in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) customisation and support.
  • Proficiency in X++ and C# for F&O customisations and integrations.
  • Hands-on with Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, virtual tables, and modern integration patterns.
  • Strong use of Visual Studio and Lifecycle Services (LCS); working knowledge of UDE and PPAC.
  • End-to-end ERP lifecycle experience (analysis post-go-live).
  • Demonstrated ability to design/build automations and integrations between F&O and external systems using Power Platform.
  • Knowledge of extension models, upgrade strategies, coding standards, and maintainability best practices.
  • Experience with unit testing, code reviews, technical documentation, and UAT.
  • Proven maintenance & performance tuning for Dynamics 365 applications.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
