Solutions Architect - Insuretech

Solutions Architect | Insurtech | 12 Month FTC | London

Expanding Insuretech client is in need of a Solutions Architect to help shape a large consumer platform from inception.

This is a rare greenfield opportunity. You should be comfortable comparing and selecting across cloud platforms, integration and API patterns, event driven and microservice designs, confidently justifying build versus buy on each.

What you will do

• Shape the end to end solution across customer journey, pricing and decisioning, policy, payments and data.
• Decide build versus buy and bring market awareness of the best tools and platforms.
• Define integration patterns and data flows across a multi system, multi vendor architecture.
• Set the architecture standards and govern design quality from concept to go live.
• Work hands on in agile sprints and challenge the team to build the right thing, fast.

What we are looking for

• A genuine Solutions Architect, solution led rather than purely technical.
• insurtech or fintech experience, comfortable building from scratch.
• Insurance or another regulated environment, personal lines or direct to consumer.
• Assertive, adaptable, and at home in ambiguity and pace.
