IT Programme Delivery Lead

A 12 month Fixed term contract opportunity has arisen at a  Large UK Financial services firm for a IT Programme Delivery Lead to drive and execute high-impact projects.

The Ideal candidate will have a proven background in leading complex IT transformation & Integration programmes within regulated environments, ideally in banking or insurance.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Managing budgets, third-party vendors, and cross-functional delivery teams

• Coordinate internal and external development teams to ensure resource allocation aligns with project goals, timelines, and deliverables.

• Define and maintain detailed project scopes, technical/user requirements, and delivery roadmaps in partnership with key stakeholders.

• Use project management tools to monitor progress, manage risks and dependencies, and provide real-time updates via dashboards and reports.

• Establish and maintain strong governance practices, including RAID logs, change control processes, lessons learned, and key decision tracking.

• Conduct regular IT process evaluations to uncover opportunities for automation, standardisation, and operational improvements.

• Lead the implementation of targeted process improvements to boost efficiency, strengthen governance, and enhance service delivery.

• Define and monitor KPIs to measure the success of projects, system performance, and stakeholder satisfaction levels.
