AI Technical Developer & Solutions Specialist Reports to: Head of AI Strategy

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient AI Technical Developer to join our team, reporting directly to the Head of AI Strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who enjoys working independently with a strong foundation in technology and a genuine passion for artificial intelligence to play a meaningful role in shaping how AI is adopted and implemented across the business.
The successful candidate will sit at the intersection of technology and commercial strategy, working cross-functionally to identify, evaluate, develop and deploy AI initiatives that drive tangible value across the organisation. This role is suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and brings both technical rigour and a natural sense of urgency to their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and demo emerging AI products and tools, assessing their relevance and applicability to specific business use cases across sales and other departments.
- Engage with stakeholders across multiple functions to identify and prioritise AI initiatives with the greatest potential business impact.
- Collate, track, and report on the progress and development of AI initiatives, presenting findings clearly to the Director of Sales Strategy and, where appropriate, the CEO.
- Liaise with the technology team to support the technical scoping and implementation of AI solutions, both off-the-shelf and bespoke.
- Contribute to the development of robust business cases for the adoption of new AI tools and technologies.
- Stay current with developments in the AI landscape, proactively surfacing relevant innovations and opportunities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Development, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in a technically focused role, with a track-record of developing solutions independently.
- A solid understanding of how artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies work in practice.
- Demonstrable experience working on relevant projects, with examples to discuss at interview.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a genuine enthusiasm for AI and its commercial applications.
- Comfortable working in a sociable, fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities.
