Commercial Technology Knowledge Lawyer | International Law Firm | London

We’re working with a leading international law firm looking to appoint a Commercial Technology Knowledge Lawyer to support its growing London practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys the technical side of legal work and wants to play a key role in knowledge strategy, innovation, and best practice within a dynamic team.

The role will sit within a busy commercial group advising on a broad range of technology, IT, data tech, digital transformation, and outsourcing matters. You’ll work closely with partners and fee-earners to strengthen the team’s knowledge infrastructure, support complex matters, and ensure lawyers have access to the latest market insights and resources.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop, update, and maintain precedents, playbooks, and practical guidance across commercial technology matters

• Monitor legal and market developments in areas such as IT contracts, outsourcing, data, and emerging technologies

• Deliver training sessions and knowledge updates for lawyers across the team

• Support thought leadership, client briefings, and business development initiatives

• Work closely with innovation and legal tech teams to explore automation and smarter ways of delivering knowledge

• Act as a technical sounding board for lawyers on complex commercial technology issues

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified Knowledge Lawyer, fee-earner or In-house counsel with solid experience in commercial technology, IT, or outsourcing work

• Strong drafting skills and a keen eye for detail

• An interest in knowledge management, legal innovation, and process improvement

• A collaborative approach and the ability to work across teams and jurisdictions

• Prior PSL or knowledge lawyer experience is helpful but not essential
