IT Business Applications Developer - Oracle EBS(OSFM) Location: Oldham Employer: Manufacturing Department: Information TechnologyA client of MRD Recruitment is seeking an experienced IT Business Applications Developer (Oracle EBS) to support and enhance its Oracle ERP environment across European operations. This role is critical in ensuring the business operates efficiently by aligning Oracle EBS manufacturing solutions with core business and production processes.Working within a small, collaborative European IT team, the successful candidate will focus on configuration management of Oracle EBS Manufacturing and Inventory modules and on integrating Oracle ERP with other enterprise systems, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules including OSFM, WIP, BOM and Inventory (INV) to align business requirements with manufacturing processes
- Integrate Oracle EBS with other enterprise applications such as MES, PLM and Maintenance systems, using real-time and batch APIs
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve operational and system issues
- Collaborate with Oracle team members, internal stakeholders and third-party partners to ensure changes are understood and agreed
- Manage system changes in line with internal change control procedures
Required Experience & Skills
- 3+ years' experience working with Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules
- Strong experience in configuration and deployment of changes across Oracle EBS Manufacturing
- Proven experience integrating Oracle EBS Manufacturing with MES systems
- Proficiency in SQL
- Ability to work effectively within a small, specialist team
Desirable Knowledge & Experience
- Experience with Oracle EBS R12
- Background within the semiconductor or manufacturing industry
- Ability to collaborate effectively within geographically distributed teams
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
