Mid-Level Software Engineer
About The Role
Location - Remote
Salary - £40k - £45k
We’re partnering with a global leader in eCommerce automation, as they continue to scale their engineering teams with the addition of a Mid-level Software Engineer.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Software Engineer who enjoys building clean, maintainable software within a collaborative SaaS environment. You’ll play a key role in delivering features and fixes that power global eCommerce operations across platforms including Amazon, eBay and Facebook Marketplace.
Mid-level engineers are the backbone of successful engineering teams — keeping delivery moving, improving code quality and contributing to a strong, stable development culture.
Key Responsibilities
• Designing and implementing features and fixes within the team scope
• Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code
• Taking ownership of tasks from definition through to completion
• Supporting production issue diagnosis and resolution
• Collaborating closely with QA to ensure high-quality releases
• Participating in code reviews and technical discussions
• Supporting junior engineers through knowledge sharing and mentoring
• Contributing positively to Agile ceremonies, planning and retrospectives
Requirements
• Solid commercial experience within a Software Engineering role
• Strong experience with C#
• Experience working within production SaaS or product environments
• Understanding of testing practices and code quality standards
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex tasks
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working within Agile engineering teams
