Project Manager (Technology & Business Change)

Position: Project Manager

Division: Technology & Business Change

Term: 6 month contract (initially)

Location: UK Remote

About the Role:

This role will lead the end-to-end rollout of a newly developed app alongside a portfolio of high-impact technology initiatives. You’ll own delivery from pilot to scale, ensuring operational readiness, site enablement, training, and adoption across a complex, multi-site estate.

If you’ve successfully deployed apps or digital tools into hospitality, retail, logistics, or other frontline-heavy businesses, and you know that people, processes, and comms matter as much as code, this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Own app rollout from build to business-as-usual

  • Lead the full deployment of a bespoke mobile app across operational sites
  • Ensure technical readiness, business readiness, and operational sign-off before go-live
  • Coordinate pilots, phased rollouts, and post-launch stabilisation

Be the glue between tech and operations

  • Work closely with engineering and product teams through testing, UAT, issue resolution, and refinement
  • Translate technical change into practical, frontline-friendly solutions

Drive adoption on the ground

  • Plan and deliver training, comms, and site enablement
  • Travel to sites where needed to support launches, coach teams, and unblock issues
  • Ensure new tools genuinely land in day-to-day operations

Run multiple complex initiatives

  • Manage several concurrent projects including digital planning tools, AI-enabled CCTV, and wider tech/ops change programmes
  • Keep momentum without sacrificing quality or stakeholder confidence

Manage senior stakeholders with confidence

  • Engage executive-level stakeholders with clear updates, risks, and decisions
  • Balance strategic priorities with operational realities

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience delivering app or digital product rollouts into frontline or operational environments
  • A strong track record in operational readiness, site enablement, and user adoption
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and third-party vendors
  • Confidence leading UAT, training programmes, and go-live activity
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills across multiple high-profile projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including at exec level
  • Comfort working at pace, with ambiguity, and under pressure
  • Willingness to travel to support deployments when needed
  • Experience in consumer, retail, hospitality, e-commerce, logistics, or marketplace businesses is highly desirable.
