We’re looking for a Senior Insight Analyst to help build a best-in-class analytics function from scratch within a high-growth online retail business.

No legacy constraints. No box-ticking dashboards.

The role:

  • Take ownership of analysing performance across key areas such as trading, marketing, customer behaviour, and product performance.
  • Translate data into clear findings and practical, commercially relevant recommendations, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Identify trends and opportunities ahead of stakeholder asks, adding value beyond reactive analysis.
  • Present insights in a clear, structured, and compelling way, adapting messaging to different audiences.
  • Ensure outputs are accurate, robust, and clearly validated.
  • Play an active role in improving dashboards, queries, and analytical workflows for scalability and efficiency.
  • Work effectively with Data Engineering and BI teams, helping ensure data is fit for purpose.

About you:

  • Experience: 5+ years in a commercial analysis, data insights, or similar role, with evidence of increasing ownership and impact
  • Industry: eCommerce / Retail industry experience is essential
  • Technical Skills: Strong SQL skills; solid experience with Excel and BI tools such as Tableau (or similar)
  • Programming (Desirable): Working knowledge of Python or R Core Competencies
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • Curiosity & Learning Agility: Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and develop new skills
  • Communication Skills: Ability to explain data clearly and concisely
  • Commercial Awareness: Interest in understanding how businesses operate
