Network Engineer

Network Engineer required to join a UK brand in Cumbria.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure equipment.
• Support network deployments, hardware refreshes, and office move activities.
• Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and voice solutions.
• Perform network surveys, testing, and impact assessments.
• Work with project and support teams to ensure successful delivery and service transition.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Network Engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, routing, switching, and network security.
• Experience with firewall, VPN, and voice technologies.
• Cisco CCNA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Understanding of structured cabling and data centre standards.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
