Safety & Reliability Compliance Engineer

Senior Safety & Reliability Compliance Engineer required to join a leading brand in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the UK legislation register using approved tools (e.g. Lexis Library, SIMPLIFi).
• Produce the annual Legislation Compliance Report, including environmental considerations.
• Conduct up to three compliance deep dives per year and provide recommendations.
• Provide SME advice on legislative compliance and assess impacts.
• Support governance meetings, action tracking, and reporting.
• Maintain compliance records, audit trails, and QMS requirements.
• Support briefings, training, and knowledge transfer activities.

Essential Requirements

• Experience with legislation registers and compliance reporting in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK HSE, environmental, and engineering regulations.
• Able to interpret legislation, assess impacts, and produce clear recommendations.
• CEng/IEng or relevant degree.
• Professional membership (IOSH, IET, BCS, etc.).
