Solutions Architect
We are seeking an experienced AWS Solution Architect to design, develop, and deliver cloud-native solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS architecture, design patterns, and best practices, with experience in FinOps and SecOps. This is a client-facing role requiring strong mentoring skills and the ability to guide both technical teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS-native cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability
- Apply architectural best practices and design patterns to complex cloud environments
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Engage directly with clients to understand requirements, provide architectural guidance, and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to cloud governance, security (SecOps), and cost optimization (FinOps) principles
- Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and solution evaluations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AWS services, tools, and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in AWS-native cloud development and architecture
- Strong knowledge of AWS design patterns and cloud best practices
- Experience in FinOps and SecOps practices within cloud environments
- Proven ability to mentor and guide technical teams
- Client-facing experience, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
This is a hybrid inside IR35 contract working in Cheltenham.
