Solutions Architect

Contract : 12 months + extension

Location : London

My client is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our ERP ecosystem.

In this role, you will act as the strategic link between business stakeholders and technical teams—ensuring organisational needs are translated into scalable, compliant, and future-proof solutions.

You will oversee delivery from architecture to deployment using agile methodologies, while enabling operational readiness through documentation, training, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead ERP solution architecture, including system integration strategy.
• Manage end-to-end project execution: planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk mitigation, and quality assurance.
• Serve as a liaison between business and IT—facilitating workshops and ensuring alignment across teams.
• Lead requirements gathering, business analysis, and solution validation.
• Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop documentation, training materials, and user support frameworks.
• Monitor implementation progress to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
• Stay current with ERP technology trends, methodologies, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 advancements.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and minimum 3 years post-graduate experience OR minimum 10 years of directly relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• 7+ years’ experience leading enterprise-level ERP implementations with proven delivery outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience designing ERP architectures aligned with business strategy, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
• Strong experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, or similar).
• Knowledge of ERP governance, data privacy, and regulatory frameworks for finance and operations.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or similar ERP platform).
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including workshop facilitation and consensus building.

Relevant certifications:

• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master, or similar project management credentials.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert certification or equivalent.
