Data Engineer to join a leading brand in Wolverhampton to design and deliver data solutions within their Minerva Platform.

Long term contract, excellent rates & hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver data solutions using Pentaho, Denodo, Talend, and SAS.
• Build scalable data pipelines to power analytics and BI platforms.
• Work closely with teams to define and implement technical solutions.
• Apply Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices for smooth delivery and automation.
• Ensure strong data quality, governance, and security.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data processes and performance.

Key Skills

• SAS 9.4 (DI), SAS Viya 3.x (Studio, VA, VI)
• Pentaho, Talend, Denodo, strong SQL and data modelling
• GIT, Jira, LSF, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and DevOps
• Oracle (nice to have)

The ideal candidate will be based in Telford, Birmingham, Coventry, Stratford Upon Avon, Worchester, Loughborough, Tamworth & other neighbouring towns.
