Commercial Data & Insight Analyst

A proactive Data & Insight Analyst is required to support a high-impact, data-driven project on a three-month, fractional, three-days-per-week basis.

The role involves full ownership of reporting and analysis that drive commercial and operational decisions, with a particular focus on retail ledger data and analytics to support debt propensity, forecasting, and customer spend insight.

It requires a hands-on, inquisitive approach—challenging data, shaping insight, and gathering requirements directly from stakeholders to ensure that analysis aligns with business priorities and supports strategic planning.

Experience within the retail or energy sector, especially with billing, settlements, or new customer acquisition data, will be highly beneficial.

Key skills:

• Proven experience in data and insight roles (retail or utilities preferred)
• Strong SQL and Excel skills; Power BI or Tableau advantageous
• Proven ability to challenge data and deliver clear, actionable insight
• Confident in gathering stakeholder requirements and owning data outputs

Contract: 3 months (fractional, three days per week)

Hybrid: predominantly remote, London travel (c1 day per month)
