IT & Data Analyst

Permanent | On-site | 3 x 12-hour shifts (Friday, Saturday & Sunday, alternating between day and evening shifts)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an international supply chain and distribution business supporting a busy 24/7 operation. We're looking for a Data & IT Support Analyst to provide IT support across the business while also helping to develop and maintain the company's data reporting and integration capability.

This is a varied, hands-on role that combines IT support, infrastructure maintenance, data reporting and systems integration. It's ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical issues while contributing to business improvement through technology and data.

Selection of Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-line IT support to users across a 24/7 supply chain operation.
  • Support and maintain desktops, servers, networking equipment and IT infrastructure.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance business reports and data analysis using SQL and SSRS.
  • Support EDI systems and data integration with customers and third-party systems.
  • Assist with system testing, upgrades and IT projects.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology and reporting.

Selection of Skills:

  • Previous experience in an IT Support, IT Analyst or similar technical support role.
  • Strong SQL and database interrogation skills.
  • Experience developing reports and analysing business data.
  • Knowledge of SSRS, VB.NET, EDI and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) would be advantageous.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
