Business Development Executive
We're recruiting an ambitious Business Development Executive to join a growing B2B sales team within an established tech services business.
You'll be responsible for winning new business face-to-face, supported by a dedicated lead generation team, while also taking ownership of generating your own opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, building relationships, and being accountable for their own results.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend pre-qualified appointments booked by the internal lead generation team
- Generate your own leads through cold prospecting, referrals, networking, and LinkedIn
- Conduct on-site and virtual sales meetings with business decision-makers
- Understand client needs and present tailored solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from first meeting to close
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
- Accurately update CRM systems with activity and deal progress
- Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and activity targets
About You
- Proven experience in B2B field sales, business development, or a similar role, from within the techology sector.
- Confident presenting and building rapport face-to-face
- Comfortable generating your own leads alongside provided appointments
- Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Full UK driving licence
