Business Development Manager

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Business Development Manager to join a fast-growing digital business at the forefront of AI-driven branding. This is a pivotal role for a commercially minded individual who thrives on taking new, innovative services to market.

The Role

  • Take ownership of a ground-breaking AI service, introducing it to new and existing clients.
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy in collaboration with senior leadership, aimed at rapidly expanding market presence and client base.
  • Generate new business opportunities through marketing activity, networking, events and direct outreach.
  • Lead consultative discussions with prospective clients, identifying needs, building proposals and closing deals.
  • Play a key role in building a high-performing sales function — the plan is to grow a team of five within the next 18 months, with the successful candidate stepping into a Sales Director position.
  • Progression and earning potential are significant; performance directly influences both package and future leadership opportunities.

Key Requirements

We’re looking for a driven, intelligent and confident professional who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on sales execution.

You should be:

  • Experienced in business development, ideally within a digital or marketing focused environment.
  • Quick to grasp new technology and AI-based solutions.
  • A confident and persuasive communicator, capable of running high-level consultative discussions.
  • Highly literate with excellent written English and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Word, able to create polished presentations and proposals.
  • Exceptionally organised, capable of managing multiple leads and marketing activities simultaneously.
  • Ambitious and self-motivated, eager to make a tangible impact and grow into a leadership role.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing (SEO, PPC, analytics) or AI concepts would be an advantage.
