IT Sales Executive
The Opportunity
A growing UK-based technology provider is looking to hire a Business Development Representative to support its continued expansion across IT services, cybersecurity, telecoms, and workplace infrastructure.
This is a full-cycle sales role with real ownership — ideal for someone with experience in B2B tech sales who wants to move beyond appointment setting and take responsibility for closing business.
You’ll focus primarily on winning new clients, while also managing a select number of existing accounts through targeted sales campaigns — giving you a balance of longer-term opportunities and quicker wins.
You’ll be trusted to manage your own pipeline and deals, with support available on more complex opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and engage new B2B clients within the SME and mid-market space
- Run discovery conversations around IT, telecoms, and cybersecurity needs
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to close
- Build and maintain a strong, well-qualified pipeline
- Close new business and generate revenue
- Re-engage and develop existing accounts through structured sales activity
- Prepare proposals and work collaboratively on larger opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline visibility
- Continue developing both commercial and technical knowledge

About You
This role is suited to someone already working in B2B technology sales (IT services, telecoms, MSP, or similar) who is ready for more ownership and earning potential.
You will likely:
- Have experience selling technology solutions into businesses
- Be confident running structured sales conversations and qualifying opportunities
- Be comfortable managing your own pipeline and closing deals
- Be motivated by performance and commission
- Be looking to step up from an SDR role or improve your current environment
- Value autonomy, while still benefiting from support and coaching
This is not an entry-level role and is not suited to candidates without relevant sales experience.
