Multiplex Services Europe are the facilities management company that are responsible for the Hard FM elements of maintaining Peterborough City Hospital. Currently 700 beds but undergoing further development to increase this.
This is an acute hospital that provides treatment for individuals with short term, severe medical needs.
Role
-
Work alongside and support the maintenance team with a view to becoming a semi-skilled and fully skilled craftsman.
- You will work as part of the Technical Operations team and report to Darryl Reeve, the Technical Operations Manager
- You will support the technical team and learn the day-to-day maintenance skills and duties required in an Acute hospital, walk in day centre and also a mental health facility.
Training
- Property maintenance operative Level 2 (GCSE) Apprenticeship standard
- Apprenticeship Certificate. Graded at Pass, Merit or Distinction.
- Attendance at Stamford College one day a week
Progression from an apprentice to a semi-skilled craftsman, and with continued learning progression to become a maintenance craftsman.
