One of our leading clients is looking to recruit a Principal Software Engineer.

Location – Hybrid – Warwickshire/Remote (couple of days per month in the office)

Duration – 6 months

Day Rate – £550 – 650 per day Inside IR35

You will be designing, building, and managing cutting-edge cloud based software platforms.

Experience:

• C# and .NET Core, with a solid understanding of backend development principles.
• Microservices and event-driven architectures alongside RESTful APIs.
• Azure cloud services including Azure Entra & AppInsights and general authentication/authorisation practices.
• Containerisation, automation, and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker).
• CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices including Infrastructure As Code (IaC) and observability such as metrics, monitoring, traces and alerting.
• Test-first mindset and able to lead other engineers on what good looks like regarding unit/integration testing, end-to-end (E2E) testing and contract testing with libraries and frameworks such as XUnit, Playwright and PACT.
• Lean software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, SAFe).
