MLST is the top technical AI youtube podcast, we interview the world's top scientists about the latest breakthroughs in AI and large language models etc. We also cover some philosophy, linguistics and cognitive science. We make 3 tiers of videos, the full podcasts, 10 minute clips and 2 minute youtube shorts. We expect the clips and shorts to be much more edited, with rich storytelling and visuals/sound design.

Ideal Candidate

Smart, knowledgable and interested in AI and good at computers. We use a lot of custom software (which we have written ourselves) in our pipeline and much of our editing process involves working with large language models. We use Davinci Resolve and Fusion primarily. We want you to understand storytelling at a deep level, and in particular there is a lot of audio engineering and sound design on our show and expect you to be comfortable using VSTs. You need to have extremely good instinct for what a technical audience would find interesting and how to hook their attention, as well as visual instinct about what "looks good", animations, composition and texturing.

The quality of our work is at an extremely high standard, and we know from experience (pragmatically) that we won't find a candidate who already has all the required technical skills. If you join our team we will train you how to do colour grading, audio engineering and motion graphics and you will learn a lot in the process. It will be fun! You will also learn a lot about cutting-edge AI which is all the rage now in the industry.

Been editing videos continuously for the last 3 years as your primary focus

Experience using frontier LLMs

3d engine experience or interest a big plus i.e. Unrealengine/Blender

Qualifications
