Position: Business Development Director (Data & AI Solutions) Location: Remote (+1 day per month in London HQ) Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 basic. OTE = £160k | Permanent | Remote Working | AI/Data industry

As they continue scaling across EMEA, APAC and the Americas, they're now hiring a Business Development Director (Data & AI); someone who thrives in the fast-paced world of digital transformation and can take the lead in building new relationships, winning strategic accounts, and owning complex enterprise sales.

The Role

This is a true "hunter" role where you'll:

  • Build and close a new business pipeline from the ground up, targeting enterprise clients (typically £50m+ turnover)
  • Engage directly with C-level decision-makers (CFOs, COOs, CEOs) and lead complex discovery and solution design
  • Work closely with internal Solution Architects and Pre-Sales consultants to translate business problems into compelling, AI-led solutions
  • Own the entire sales cycle, including proposals, commercial modelling, value cases and stakeholder engagement
  • Be the face of the company in your market - attending industry events, building partnerships and influencing roadmap strategy
  • Some warm leads may come through sporadically, but this salary is for someone who is capable of prospecting/winning their own business.

Who we're looking for:

  • A "Consultative Hunter", ideally with a 'black book' of contacts (from any industry but ideally decision makers turnover enterprise clients)
  • 5-10 years of B2B enterprise sales experience in SaaS, data, analytics, or digital transformation
  • A commercial operator with an ownership mindset and demonstrable success in building pipeline from scratch
  • Proven ability to close six-figure+ multi-workstream deals
  • Strong technical acumen (you don't need to code, but you'll understand cloud platforms, data integration, BI, and AI use cases)
  • Confident, credible and experienced working with C-level decision-makers
  • Experience in pre-sales or consultancy is a major advantage

  • Reporting to: Business Development Director - UK
  • Interview Process: 2-3 stages, starting via MS Teams, final with board & SLT in London. The 2nd and 3rd stages will be held on the same day.
