Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with Swim England, the national governing body for swimming, to recruit a Digital Manager on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a non-for-profit organisation with a genuine sense of purpose, where digital plays a key role in supporting participation, engagement and long-term sustainability of the sport across the country.
The role
As Digital Manager, you'll take ownership of Swim England's digital platforms, including their website and digital products, leading both strategy and delivery.
You'll manage a small in-house digital team while also working closely with external suppliers and development agencies to ensure projects are delivered effectively and in line with organisational goals.
You'll be central to shaping the digital roadmap, improving user journeys and ensuring digital activity supports both commercial and community-focused objectives.
What they're looking for
- Proven people management experience, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a digital team
- Strong digital project management experience across websites and/or apps
- Experience working with external suppliers such as development agencies
- A good understanding of digital development principles and user experience
- Confidence managing multiple stakeholders with competing priorities
Nice to have (but not essential)
- Experience working with content management systems (e.g. WordPress or similar)
- Exposure to e-commerce platforms
- Knowledge of SEO, analytics or data-led digital improvement
