Full Stack Developer - Do Good with Tech Location: Loughborough (Hybrid, 2-3 days on site)Salary: £35,000-£40,000

  • It's a true full-stack role, leaning slightly more towards back-end development while still involving plenty of front-end work to keep things interesting. We're looking for someone confident across the stack, with the enthusiasm to learn and the initiative to make things happen. You'll enjoy working with others, contributing ideas, and being part of a team where collaboration and communication really matter.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications across the full stack.
  • Building scalable, secure, and efficient back-end systems using Java and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Creating clean, interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Adding real value by bringing hands-on experience with modern front-end libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Collaborating with designers, product owners, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless digital experiences.
  • Working in an agile environment, contributing ideas, and helping shape technical direction.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong foundation in full-stack development, with commercial experience delivering web applications.
  • Solid skills in HTML, CSS, and Java.
  • Good knowledge of at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js preferred).
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL/Postgres) and version control (Git).
  • Awareness of deployment pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Cloudflare.
  • A proactive communicator who enjoys teamwork and problem-solving.
  • Someone adaptable, curious, and eager to grow their technical expertise.

Desirable Experience:

  • Familiarity with microservices or no/low-code tools such as Bubble or Webflow.
  • Interest in AI integrations or native app development.
