- Are you someone who has gained some experience working on projects and is now ready to take the next step in your career?
- We’re working with a large, international business based in Nottingham that is looking to add capacity to its project team with the appointment of a Junior Transformation & Project Manager.
- Working closely with an experienced Project Manager, you’ll get the opportunity to support a range of large projects while developing your own project management skills and taking on increasing responsibility.
About the Role:
- This is a varied opportunity for someone who enjoys improving the way things work and wants to build a career in transformation and project management.
- You’ll be working across the business, getting involved in areas such as:
- Supporting the Project Manager across a range of large projects.
- Going out into the business to map processes and understand how things currently work.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and transformation.
- Working with stakeholders at all levels across the business.
- Taking ownership of smaller projects as your experience develops.
- Building your project management capability with the longer-term opportunity to lead your own projects.
About you
- We’re less concerned about having a perfect project management background and more interested in your attitude, work ethic and potential.
- You may have gained project experience through a previous role, secondment or similar and now be looking for an opportunity to do more and develop your career.
You’ll need to be:
- Excited by transformation and improving the way things are done.
- Willing to learn and develop.
- Someone with a strong work ethic and the right attitude.
- Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.
- Able to build good working relationships and communicate effectively.
- Interested in taking ownership and gradually developing your own projects.
- A full UK driving licence is required, as the role will involve visiting sites.
