Part-Qualified Management Accountant Derbyshire (5 days on-site)£35,000 – £40,000 per annumMonday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

The Role An opportunity has arisen for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join the finance team. Reporting to the Finance Controller, the role will support the production of financial information and provide insight to assist business decision-making.
This position is suited to someone progressing through professional qualifications who is looking to build experience in management accounting within an industry setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss and balance sheet reporting
- Support the delivery of monthly reporting packs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
- Contribute to variance analysis, identifying key movements and trends
- Assist with audit processes and maintain appropriate financial controls
- Provide financial data and analysis to support operational teams
- Prepare reports for non-finance stakeholders where required
- Support and collaborate with junior team members where appropriate
Skills & Experience Required
- Part-Qualified ACCA or CIMA
- Approximately 2–4 years’ experience in a finance role, preferably within industry
- Good understanding of core accounting principles
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Analytical approach with good attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-finance colleagues
- Experience with accounting systems such as Business Central, Oracle, or similar is beneficial
- Well organised with the ability to manage deadlines
