Macildowie are working exclusively with a leading business based in Leicester to recruit a Marketing Specialist on a full-time, permanent basis.

Operating within the technology and engineering industry, this role offers a varied and creative opportunity for an experienced marketer to drive brand awareness and support sales growth. This is a standalone marketing role within a growing organisation, looking to double in headcount within the next 5 years, reporting into the Business Development Manager. The Role: As Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end marketing activity across digital, print, events, and internal communications. From designing eye-catching campaigns and managing the company website, to leading social media activity and supporting internal engagement, you will be central to enhancing the business's visibility and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and producing compelling marketing materials for print and digital channels.
• Managing and updating website content with SEO in mind.
• Creating and executing a social media strategy, primarily on LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Planning and coordinating trade shows, webinars, and internal events.
• Supporting internal communications and employee engagement.
• Monitoring budgets, analysing results, and reporting on campaigns.

About You:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a broad marketing role.
• Skilled in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
• Strong communication skills, with an ability to write clear and engaging copy.
• Experience managing corporate social media channels and websites.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Desirable Experience:

• Previous exposure to B2B or technical sectors.
• Understanding of SEO, analytics, or CRM systems.
• Video editing or motion graphics skills.
