Part time Interim Payroll & HRIS Data Specialist

Macildowie are working with this client based in Bicester on an exciting interim opportunity within a fast-evolving food and hospitality group.

We are seeking an Interim Payroll & HRIS Data Specialist to join a rapidly scaling and highly entrepreneurial environment. Formed from a merger of two owner-led businesses, this organisation now supports multiple brands delivering catering, food distribution and event services across iconic venues including F1 and The Shard.

This interim contract (4-6 months) will play a critical role in the extraction, cleansing, and transition of payroll and HR data into a new HRIS and Time & Attendance system, supporting the organisation's move from spreadsheet-based processes to a fully integrated, compliant solution.

Location: Based in Bicester (OX26), with hybrid and flexible working Rate: £250-£350 per day (Inside IR35)Type: Interim (Inside IR35), 4-6 months Working Arrangement: Hybrid, with occasional travel to London and Bicester as required Flexible Working: Open to part-time candidates (3 days/week) for the right individual

The Role Includes:

• Extracting and cleansing historical payroll and HR data (manual Excel-based processes)
• Supporting the implementation of a new HR system (MorePay HR) and Time & Attendance system
• Migrating data into Sage and other platforms
• Validating and standardising employee data for accuracy and compliance
• Collaborating with stakeholders to build accurate reporting dashboards (absence, turnover, role types etc.)

You Will Need:

• Proven experience in payroll data cleansing and system transitions
• Experience using or implementing Sage Payroll and HRIS tools
• Excellent attention to detail and confidence in challenging data inaccuracies
• Ability to engage constructively with stakeholders, including those resistant to change
