Reporting Analyst
BI ANALYST | DERBYSHIRE | UP TO £40,000 + BENEFITS
I’m currently recruiting for a BI Analyst to join an established organisation in Derbyshire, offering a great opportunity for someone who wants to work across Power BI, data modelling, reporting and analytics. This is a hybrid role (1 day per week in the office)
This isn’t just a case of producing reports and sending them out.
You’ll be working closely with the business to understand what they need, turn that into effective BI solutions and ultimately help people make better, data-driven decisions.
What will you be doing?
- Building and developing Power BI reports & dashboards
- Data extraction, transformation and data modelling
- Working with DAX & SQL
- Developing statistical models across sales & marketing data
- Managing and improving monthly reporting processes
- Identifying trends and translating them into actionable insight
- Working closely with Sales Analysts and stakeholders
- Helping teams make better use of self-service BI
What are they looking for?
You’ll ideally have experience across:
- Power BI / Microsoft BI solutions
- DAX & SQL
- SQL Server / databasesData wrangling & data modelling
- Python would be a bonus
More importantly, you’ll be someone who is naturally analytical, organised and curious — able to spot what the data is telling you and, crucially, explain it to people who don't live and breathe data.
