Legal Counsel

12 month Maternity cover (Interim or fixed term considered)

Hybrid working - 2 days office based (Commutable by train from Bristol, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Swindon, Worcester, Birmingham)

The company

A leading international, technology company have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial / Tech lawyer to join them for 12 months to cover for maternity leave.

The role

Reporting into the CEO in the UK and Group General Counsel in Europe you will look after legal matters for the UK with the support of one direct report. This will be a hands on position advising on a wide range of commercial agreements, including cloud, software licensing, IP, data protection and compliance. In addition you will have the opportunity to support with group wide strategic projects.

About you

You may be admitted as a Solicitor (England & Wales) or Legal Executive with a strong background Tech / SAAS contracts and Data protection. Experience of mentoring would also be beneficial. Ideally you will be able to start within the next month.
