Jira Specialist
The Core Technology & Advisory Collaboration team is responsible for developing and maintaining digital tools and platforms that facilitate communication and collaboration among team members across Macquarie Asset Management’s global operating locations. The team ensure these tools are secure, user-friendly, and integrated with other business systems to enhance productivity and efficiency. While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in the advertised location. As a JIRA Specialist, you will lead the technical management of Jira, Jira Service Management and associated workflows. You will become a subject matter expert in our Ways of Working (Agile based) and support strategic initiatives, such as Jira Service Management cloud migrations. You will apply best practices to the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the Atlassian suite, helping to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. What You Offer
- At least 4 years’ experience configuring, managing, and supporting the Atlassian suite of tools, including Jira, Jira Service Management & Confluence
- A technical background, with skills such as Python, shell, Groovy, REST API, CI/CD
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD processes and tools is desirable
- Highly self-motivated, with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Experience in maintaining and supporting IT platforms
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
