Content Acquisition Manager
Role Summary
The Contract Consultant – English Language Learning (ELL) will support current and upcoming UK/EU client engagements. Primary responsibilities include ELL advisory, solution development, client consultation, and curriculum/content strategy. This contract role may transition to a longer-term or permanent opportunity based on performance, market alignment, and organizational needs.
Responsibilities
Client Advisory and Engagement
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for ELL pedagogy, curriculum development, and instructional strategy.
- Participate in client discovery meetings, presentations, and solution-scope discussions.
- Advise clients on instructional quality, localisation, accessibility, and digital learning approaches.
Program and Solution Support
- Collaborate with internal teams, including instructional design, editorial, technology, and accessibility.
- Support the design of ELL-focused digital learning solutions, assessments, and curriculum products.
- Guide alignment with UK or European curriculum standards.
Market Insight and Strategy Contribution
- Provide insight into UK and EU ELL market needs, client expectations, and competitive landscape.
- Assist with proposal development, RFP responses, and solution frameworks.
- Identify opportunities for potential partnerships, accounts, or strategic business engagements.
Internal Collaboration
- Share ELL expertise and market knowledge with cross-functional teams.
- Provide advisory input to support solution positioning and organizational strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in K–12 English Language Learning (ELL), curriculum development, publishing, assessment, or educational technology.
- Experience in client advisory, consulting, or solution design.
- Strong understanding of UK/EU ELL curriculum frameworks, localisation, and instructional design.
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Long-Term Leadership Potential)
- Established network within publishing, edtech, assessment, or education services sectors.
- Experience supporting presales, business development, or partnership activities.
- Ability to represent the organization in client meetings, industry events, or strategic discussions.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams or initiatives.
Contract Details
- Contract Duration: 12 months
- Contract Type: Consultancy, with potential for long-term or permanent position
