Web3 Business Development Manager
We are a growth company operating in Web3, currently working with a Web3 protocol in the DeFi landscape. The protocol is building financial infrastructure and solutions for blockchain-based businesses, delivering high-impact, B2B financial services across the crypto ecosystem.
As we continue scaling, we’re looking for a highly connected and execution-driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth and expand our network.
We are seeking a Web3-native BD professional with a strong existing network across DeFi and the broader crypto ecosystem. This is a high-impact, revenue-focused role with two primary growth channels:
- Direct Business Development – sourcing and closing projects directly into the protocol.
- Partner-Led Growth – building and managing a network of strategic partners who can drive deal flow to us.
You’ll be responsible for originating opportunities, running demos, closing deals, and managing partner relationships — all while operating independently within a defined BD framework.
- Leverage your existing Web3 network to source and onboard new B2B clients.
- Identify DeFi and crypto projects that can benefit from our financial solutions.
- Run demo calls and present protocol solutions to founders, executives, and decision-makers.
- Manage the full BD lifecycle: outreach, qualification and closing.
- Build and maintain a partner network (agencies, service providers, ecosystems, etc.) that can refer and generate deal flow.
- Manage and motivate partners to actively bring business to the protocol.
- Track pipeline activity and performance within our BD system.
- Provide market feedback and insights from conversations with projects.
- Proven experience in Web3 business development, preferably within DeFi.
- An existing, active network of crypto founders, protocols, service providers, and ecosystem players.
- Strong understanding of the DeFi landscape and crypto-native financial products.
- Experience selling B2B solutions in Web3.
- Comfortable leading demo calls and explaining technical/financial solutions clearly.
- A self-starter and solo operator who can manage their own pipeline and deliver results.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Results-driven with a clear track record of bringing in revenue or strategic partnerships.
- Experience working at a Web3 protocol or infrastructure provider.
- Experience building or managing channel/partner programs.
- Deep understanding of token ecosystems and crypto-native business models.
