QA Tester

Our rapidly growing software client is looking for a QA Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of their software solutions before they reach the customer. By systematically identifying and documenting issues, you will safeguard user experience, minimise defects, and help deliver products that meet both functional and business requirements. This QA Tester role is fully remote.

QA Tester responsibilities:

QA Tester background:

• SFIA Skill Codes: TEST (Level 4) / QUMG (Level 4) / METL (Level 3)
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to liaise across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Sprint-based work delivery, story estimation, and continuous integration environments.
• 2+ years of experience in software QA or testing roles.
• Proficient in writing test cases and black box testing techniques.
• Familiarity with risk management and issue escalation practices.
• Desirable - Using Gherkin syntax (Given, When, Then, And).
• Desirable - automation frameworks / libraries to help streamline testing e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, CI/CD tests
