Sales Development Representative
Magnus & Wolf are delighted to be working with a global MSP, supporting the growth of their sales team. They are looking to hire an experienced SDR to help build high-quality pipeline across IBM and HPE software, infrastructure, and hybrid cloud solutions.

The Role:-
- Own top-of-funnel activity for IBM solutions, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities across target mid-market and enterprise accounts.
- Run structured outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn and campaigns) into agreed account lists to build a strong, sales-ready pipeline.
- Qualify opportunities against agreed criteria (budget, authority, need, timescale), ensuring only high-quality leads are passed to the sales team.
- Work closely with Client Directors, Solution Specialists and the IBM vendor team to align outreach with account plans, campaigns and sales plays.
- Maintain accurate activity, contact and opportunity data in CRM, giving clear visibility of pipeline and progression.
- Build and maintain a solid understanding of IBM propositions (software, infrastructure, hybrid cloud) and how they solve customer problems.
- Support joint marketing and IBM campaigns, events and webinars to help generate and nurture pipeline.
The Person:-
- Experienced SDR with a minimum of 2 years in a dedicated SDR / outbound role within IT sales.
- Proven track record prospecting or selling IBM technologies, ideally gained within an IBM partner or IBM-aligned reseller environment.
- Strong business and financial acumen, able to spot commercial opportunities and hold credible conversations with senior IT decision-makers.
- Confident engaging enterprise stakeholders via phone, email, LinkedIn and virtual meetings, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a structured, target-driven sales environment, with the tenacity to consistently hit KPIs and pipeline goals.
- Solid understanding of IBM managed services, hybrid cloud, infrastructure and software solutions, with a genuine interest in learning new technologies.
- Highly organised and self-motivated, able to juggle multiple prospects and campaigns while maintaining attention to detail in CRM.
- Collaborative and team-oriented, happy working closely with sales, marketing and vendor teams to execute campaigns and sales plays.
