Sales Development Representative

Magnus & Wolf are proud to be partnering with an exciting Tech business to recruit a Sales Development Representative, playing a key role in driving new business and building a strong sales pipeline.

  • £30,000 - £35,000 plus commission
  • Newcastle base
  • Hybrid - 2 days in office

The Role:-

  • Outbound focused position spanning phone, email, social and events
  • Research and map target accounts, identify key decision-makers and build out ideal customer profiles
  • Qualify both inbound and outbound leads against defined criteria to ensure strong commercial fit
  • Hit activity and outcome targets consistently week on week
  • Keep CRM data accurate and up to date at all times
  • Track and report on core SDR metrics including conversion rates, response rates and pipeline contribution
  • Feed market intelligence and prospect insights back to the wider team to sharpen messaging
  • Engage in ongoing training and coaching sessions to build product and market knowledge

The Person:-

  • Background in a Tech sales environment
  • A confident, credible communicator, comfortable engaging at senior and C-suite level both verbally and in writing
  • Strong listener with the emotional intelligence to read a conversation and adapt
  • Quick to identify pain points and buying motivations
  • Thick-skinned and persistent, handles rejection well and bounces back quickly
  • Highly organised with strong time management and personal discipline
  • Comfortable with modern sales tools, tech stacks and CRM platforms
  • Able to take complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly and simply
  • Self-starter who takes ownership and doesn't need to be managed closely
