We’re looking for a commercially driven Client Acquisition Director to join our New Business team, with a specific focus on developing strategic opportunities within the social housing sector.

This is a pure new-business role focused on identifying, shaping and winning opportunities with housing associations and social housing organisations. You’ll engage senior decision-makers, build trusted relationships and develop opportunities that deliver long-term commercial value.

Working closely with the Head of New Business, technical specialists, marketing, bid teams and key vendor partners, you’ll have the autonomy, support and visibility to make a significant impact.

What you’ll be doing

  • Building and maintaining a high-quality pipeline of enterprise new-logo opportunities
  • Developing strategic acquisition plans across short-, medium- and long-term targets
  • Engaging C-level stakeholders to uncover business challenges and create commercial opportunities
  • Collaborating with vendor sales teams, internal stakeholders and external influencers to generate opportunities and accelerate growth
  • Leading customer meetings and presenting compelling Maintel solutions aligned to business outcomes
  • Working closely with Marketing, SDR and Bid teams to maximise campaign and tender success
  • Managing pipeline activity, forecasting and opportunity progression through Salesforce and Salesloft
  • Representing Maintel at industry events, networking opportunities and customer engagements
  • Negotiating complex commercial agreements through to successful close

What we’re looking for

You’ll be an experienced enterprise sales professional with a proven track record of winning new business within the social housing sector.

You’ll bring credibility, sector understanding and the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders across housing organisations, understanding both their operational challenges and strategic priorities.

We’d particularly like to hear from people with experience in:

  • Social Housing / Housing Associations
  • CX and CCaaS solutions
  • UCaaS
  • Secure Connectivity and Networking
  • Managed Services

You’ll also bring:

  • Existing relationships and experience selling into social housing organisations
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles and strategic new-logo acquisition
  • Experience engaging with executive and operational stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Experience navigating procurement frameworks and tender processes
  • The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Experience working alongside SDR, marketing and bid functions to generate and convert opportunities
