A fast‐growing fintech business is seeking an Interim Commercial Contracts Counsel to support the legal function during a period of transition while a permanent hire is explored.

This is a hands‐on role within a lean legal team, offering immediate exposure to senior stakeholders and core commercial activity.

The role

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts
• Supporting the commercialisation of technology and SaaS products
• Advising on data protection and IP matters in a tech‐driven environment

The ideal profile

• Typically 5–9 PQE (law firm and/or in‐house)
• Strong commercial contracts fundamentals are essential
• Experience with technology, fintech or SaaS businesses highly desirable
• Fintech experience helpful but not required where commercial and tech capability is strong
• Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast‐paced, low‐hierarchy environment

Contract details

• 6‐month interim contract
• ASAP start
• Hybrid working – 2 days per week in the office (with flexibility to attend more)
