Senior Legal Counsel

Major, Lindsey & Africa are working with an online consumer platform who are looking to grow their London-based online safety litigation legal team. This role will be a critical hire for their EMEA function, and they require someone with experience across a range of litigation related to content regulation, privacy and online safety. In addition, this role liaises directly with regulators and governments across the EMEA region on a variety of contentious issues.

This position is well-suited to someone who is capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. It will be based in London, and the successful candidate will be able to come into the office 5-days-per-week (although some flexibility on hours in office is provided).

Requirements:

• 5PQE+
• Trained and qualified in private practice
• Experience with online safety regulations, particularly on contentious matters
• Previous in-house experience with a technology or online consumer platform is desirable
