PMP Manager

We’re working with a well-established media agency known for delivering highly targeted, data-led advertising solutions for brands across a range of sectors.

They’re looking for a freelance PMP Manager to take ownership of private marketplace activity across premium publisher inventory. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong programmatic trading experience who enjoys working closely with SSPs, publishers and internal teams to structure high-performing inventory-led opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Private Marketplace (PMP) deals with SSPs and premium publishers.
  • Coordinate inventory access through platforms such as PubMatic, Magnite and Equativ.
  • Negotiate and structure PMP opportunities aligned to campaign objectives.
  • Match premium inventory solutions to client goals and target audiences.
  • Manage deal IDs and DSP-side PMP setup.
  • Monitor campaign delivery, pacing and performance.
  • Evaluate inventory performance and provide optimisation recommendations.
  • Support pricing, margin management and commercial packaging.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and visibility of the PMP pipeline.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience managing PMP deals within a programmatic trading or supply-side role.
  • Strong understanding of SSPs, publisher relationships and private marketplace mechanics.
  • Experience working with platforms such as PubMatic, Magnite and Equativ.
  • Hands-on knowledge of DSP setup and deal ID management.
  • Commercially minded, with experience supporting pricing and margin discussions.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess premium inventory performance.

Project Scope & Duration - Mid-end May start / 2-3 days pw / 3 months initially

Day Rate - £350 - £400pd

Location & Workplace Policy - Hybrid working model, with flexibility for remote working.

IR35 Status - Outside
