Client Director – Energy, Utilities & Infrastructure
UK Hybrid (Peterborough 2 days per week)
Build strategic partnerships across the UK's energy and utility sectors.
We are partnering with a growing social impact organisation that already works extensively within the energy sector and is now expanding its partnerships across utilities, water, telecoms and critical infrastructure providers.
The organisation helps regulated businesses support vulnerable customers, deliver community investment programmes and maximise the impact of funding and social value initiatives.
As investment across utilities and infrastructure continues to grow, we are seeking a senior commercial leader to drive strategic growth across the sector.
The Opportunity
This is a market-building role rather than a traditional sales position.
You'll combine sector knowledge, commercial leadership and relationship development to identify opportunities, create partnerships and establish long-term programmes with some of the UK's largest regulated organisations.
- You will be responsible for:
- Developing relationships across energy suppliers, network operators, water utilities and telecoms providers
- Identifying funding streams, regulatory drivers and emerging opportunities
- Building and converting a high-quality strategic pipeline
- Creating multi-year partnerships with major infrastructure organisations
- Engaging with senior stakeholders across customer vulnerability, ESG, sustainability, innovation and community investment teams
- Leading commercial discussions through to contract award
- Expanding existing relationships into broader managed service programmes
What We're Looking For

You will ideally bring:
- Experience selling services, managed solutions or programmes into energy, utilities, water or telecoms sectors
- Understanding of regulated industries and associated funding mechanisms
- Knowledge of customer vulnerability, social value, ESG, community investment or customer support programmes
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and strategic partnerships
- Strong relationships across utilities, infrastructure or telecommunications markets
- Ability to operate at Executive and Board level
