Marketing Assistant

Manchester Staff are currently working with a fast-paced, innovative tech business who are seeking a dynamic Marketing Assistant. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you will support on campaign delivery across food retail, food manufacturing and housing sectors. This role would suit a creative thinker who loves bringing brands to life!

We are looking for a keen content creator who love experimenting with new formats and seeing campaigns from delivery inception through to realisation. A passion and experience in creating video content is a plus!

Package and Benefits

  • £25,000 basic salary with increase to £26,000 (DOE)

Roles & Responsibilities

As Marketing Assistant, you will:

  • Create and schedule content across LinkedIn, email, and owned channels
  • Plan and maintain a marketing content calendar to give visibility of upcoming activity
  • Produce and edit short-form videos for social media, events and campaigns
  • Support the creation of blogs, graphics, and other creative assets
  • Maintain HubSpot data hygiene – ensuring clean contact lists and accurate campaign tracking, including webinars, roundtables, and industry exhibitions
  • Monitor social and competitor activity to identify engagements opportunities
  • Support internal marketing initiatives, including podcasts, video content, and office events
  • Collaborate with the wider Marketing, Sales and CX teams to ensure messaging consistency

About You

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Some industry experience, whether this is from an internship or work placement
  • A Creative communicator with an eye for design and storytelling
  • Confident creating short form video content (using tools such as Canva, CapCut or Adobe Express)
  • Comfortable working in HubSpot (or keen to learn!)
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative by nature – you enjoy being part of a busy, supportive team
