The Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship will equip you with the practical skills, core knowledge and professional behaviours needed to manage business operations efficiently, develop high-quality administration skills and work as part of a warm and friendly team.

Role

The  Apprentice Administrative Assistant role, the apprentice will:

  • Answer telephone calls and emails and deal with enquiries
  • Manage documents, records and confidential information
  • Use Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and administrative systems
  • Process and check data and laboratory requests
  • Organise and prioritise their workload and deadlines
  • Help with audits, reports and compliance information
  • Support meetings, events and projects
  • Work with colleagues and other organisations to provide an effective service. Follow Trust policies, procedures and quality standards
  • Develop their administration skills while working towards the Level 3 Business Administrator qualification

Training

Your first day of Apprenticeship induction at MFT will take place on our Oxford Road Campus (ORC) in the City Centre. You will attend a session once a month virtually or face to face for training session with the delivery team for a further 14 months.

MFT has 10 hospitals and Local Community Organisations. There are ample opportunities to progress into a higher position upon completion of the apprenticeship programme. With an 'Apprenticeship First' approach, there are further opportunities to gain qualifications.
