Are you a skilled field service engineer with experience in robotics, electrical systems, and automation ? Do you want to work with cutting-edge robotic welding technology and receive ongoing specialist training ?
A leading provider of automated welding solutions is looking for a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and maintain robotic welding systems across the UK & Ireland . This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the most advanced robotic automation systems in the industry.
What Youβll Be Doing:
β Servicing, repairing, and commissioning robotic welding systems on customer sites
β Fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical components
β Interpreting electrical schematics to assist with installations and system upgrades
β Preventative maintenance and system optimization to ensure maximum performance
β Providing on-site technical support and training to customers
β Field-based role covering the UK & Ireland , with occasional overnight stays (up to 3 times per week)
What Weβre Looking For:
πΉ Electrical qualifications β essential (Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent)
πΉ Ability to interpret electrical schematics and work confidently with electrical systems
πΉ Robotic experience (ABB, Fanuc, KUKA, or similar) is highly advantageous
πΉ Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills , including automation and control systems
πΉ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field
πΉ Strong communication skills β ability to provide clear technical support to customers
πΉ Full UK driving licence β must be comfortable with travel and overnight stays
