IT Business Analyst

We’re looking for an experienced BA to play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with smart, scalable technology solutions. What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be at the heart of delivery — collaborating with stakeholders, analysing business needs, and ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose from concept through to implementation.

Requirements & Discovery

• Engage with stakeholders to uncover, challenge and refine business needs
• Use a variety of elicitation techniques (workshops, interviews, process mapping) to capture clear, complete requirements
• Translate ideas into structured outputs such as user stories, journeys, and process flows
• Ensure requirements are testable, traceable, and aligned to business objectives

Analysis & Insight

• Dive deep into business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities
• Contribute to business cases with data-driven insights on benefits, risks and costs
• Interpret data flows and dependencies across systems
• Create clear, visual artefacts to bring solutions to life

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as the key link between business, technical teams, and delivery functions
• Build strong relationships and maintain alignment across all parties
• Communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proactively manage expectations, risks, and evolving priorities

Solution Shaping

• Work with architects, developers, and partners to define practical, scalable solutions
• Ensure alignment with business goals, data requirements, and technical standards
• Identify risks early — particularly around data, integration, and quality
• Support governance and ensure traceability from requirement to solution

Testing & Delivery Support

• Ensure requirements are measurable and test-ready
• Support UAT by defining scenarios, coordinating stakeholders, and tracking outcomes
• Work closely with teams to resolve defects and validate fixes
• Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, and readiness

Continuous Improvement

• Support delivery with metrics, dashboards, and insights
• Contribute to adoption activities such as training and communications
• Help teams measure success and identify opportunities for improvement

What We’re Looking For

Background & Qualifications

• Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or similar
• Business Analysis certification (BCS, IIBA, PMI-PBA or equivalent)

Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within digital or technology-driven environments
• Strong track record in requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across business and technology
• Comfortable working with data, including governance and validation considerations
• Exposure to delivery frameworks and hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud)
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Dynamics is advantageous
