PCB Assembler

Due to an increase in customer orders, we are looking for skilled PCB Assemblers to join an established electronics manufacturing company based in Stockport.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out PCB assembly to a high standard.
• Perform both conventional (through-hole) and surface-mount soldering.
• Solder a variety of connectors, including D-type connectors.
• Complete soldering work in accordance with IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
• Carry out track and circuit board repairs.
• Remove and replace damaged electronic components, including resistors, diodes and capacitors.
• Work accurately with very small electronic components.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship, quality and attention to detail.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience and competence in PCB assembly.
• Strong soldering skills, ideally with knowledge of or experience working to IPC standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work accurately and consistently in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.
