Salary: Grade 6 £17.41 per hour £33,951 per Annum
Hours: 37.5 Mon-Friday 9-5pm
Type : Hybrid 3 days office

Overview of the Role:

Manpower are delighted to be representing a highly regarded institution in Leeds. In this role, you will be part of a unified organisation, collaborating with NHS organisations. Your core responsibility will be to generate and communicate key management information and develop the digital solutions necessary for the successful delivery of the Data and Analytics function.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues internally, and with external stakeholders to help implement a culture shift that ensures the network functions cohesively with a shared purpose. This role may involve some national travel.


Duties and Responsibilities:


General Responsibilities:

  • Support the coordination and delivery of activities and projects in line with organisational policies, monitoring progress, identifying issues, and recommending solutions.
  • Act as an effective team member, providing support for colleague recruitment, training, and supervision, while contributing to service improvement plans.
  • Engage collaboratively with stakeholders, participating in discussions and meetings to implement process improvements and achieve operational goals.
  • Make independent decisions regarding work and provide specialist advice to inform decision-making and resolve queries.


Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Extract and manipulate data using SQL to facilitate self-service reporting and ad-hoc requests.
  2. Identify and process data from diverse sources to enhance analysis and support strategic decision-making.
  3. Develop and maintain dashboards and online reports using QlikView and Qlik Sense.
  4. Optimise operational processes by leveraging data from the Central Portfolio Management System (CPMS) and creating innovative digital solutions.
  5. Create tools and processes that enable business insights and promote self-service access to data sources.
  6. Implement data quality processes to ensure effective communication of issues and uphold data management standards.
  7. Maintain a central suite of Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistency in supporting stakeholders and addressing data requests.
  8. Monitor the Data and Analytics inbox, responding to ad-hoc queries and managing SQL reports through the ServiceNow portal.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven ability to support organisational change and transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working proactively and independently with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing demands effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to engage diverse audiences and present data meaningfully.


Specific to the Role:

  • Background in health information or a mathematical/statistical field with relevant experience in data analysis.
  • Advanced IT skills, including proficiency in data visualisation tools and the Google Workspace suite.
  • Understanding of relational database design and data management processes.
  • Experience in creating data visualisations supporting business decision-making, with intermediate SQL skills.
