Role Overview:
A leader in Health Usage and Monitoring Systems (HUMS) for military and commercial aircrafts seeks an Engineering Project Manager to lead teams delivering customer-funded software application modifications. This role ensures projects meet all scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets at an established aerospace site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage software engineering/technology projects

• Champion safety and high-quality delivery

• Act as primary customer contact for resource allocation and project integration

• Control project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring milestones and customer requirements are met

• Manage change, risk, and project performance using metrics and earned value techniques

• Effectively communicate with all levels and drive team accountability

• Motivate and manage project teams

Requirements:

• Experience in software development project management (ideally within aerospace, automotive, nuclear, or other regulated sectors)

• Skilled in customer scope/change management and application software development

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Microsoft Project)

• Understanding of project lifecycle management

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Aerospace & Military certification standards (DAOS, RTCA DO178)

• Experience using IBM ALM tool suite

• Experience working with military license requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree

• Proven project management experience in a regulated or controlled industry (Aerospace, Energy, Chemical, Defense)
