We are supporting a major UK programme delivering complex, high-integrity engineering solutions within a highly regulated environment in Aldermaston. This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to play a key role in advancing model-based systems engineering (MBSE) practices on a long-term programme of national importance.

This role offers the chance to work on technically challenging systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders to drive innovation, consistency, and performance across engineering models and processes.

Key Responsibilities
Support and advance model-based systems engineering (MBSE) practices across requirements, interfaces, trade studies, integration, and analysis
Maintain and manage engineering models to ensure consistency, quality, and usability across teams
Enhance model deployment and reporting, including development of clear and accessible visualisations for stakeholders
Contribute to the development, maturity, and integration of MBSE models with other tools and systems
Produce and analyse performance metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
Engage with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior leaders and technical specialists
Develop and implement verification strategies to ensure accuracy, traceability, and reliability of engineering data
Support and maintain SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance
Experience & Skills Required
Strong background in systems engineering within complex or regulated environments
Proven experience with MBSE tools and methodologies
Experience working with data models, reporting, and visualisation techniques
Knowledge of verification and validation processes within engineering frameworks
Experience with SQL databases and data management
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
